A Little About Me & Why I Do It
It first started when I was renovating my new home. I’d bought a bit of a ‘fixer upper’ and was put off by the high prices of private contractors. Fortunately, these days there’s all sorts of resources online from YouTube videos to written guides on how to do a lot of the basics yourself. Over the years I’ve done everything from plastering my own walls, building an outside deck, laying turf and more.
Then one day I thought, maybe it would be useful to tell my story online with my own website. So I can share my experiences, recommendations from making my own mistakes, and help others on the same journey. From there Lees Wood Projects was born.

Although there’s a lot of home improvements and construction work you can do yourself, there are some bits which require a professional. That’s why it’s important for me to state that everything written here is purely advice. I do not recommend carrying out any dangerous or technical work without prior knowledge.
